Membership

 

Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in supporting and preserving the history of Albany Township.  Included in the membership are Quarterly Newsletters (see back issues for previous topics) printed on acid-free paper for archival quality preservation and occasional discounts on promotions.  There are several ways to join, the annual membership fee is:

 

       Individual $20

       Family   $25

       Student Membership  $10

                  available to students in current attendance

       Corporate $100.00

       Lifetime Individual Membership   $300

       Lifetime Family Membership   $375

                 Includes children under age 18

 

All current year Quarterly Newsletters are included in the membership regardless of when you join during the year.

Meetings

Dates, times and locations are posted on our Calendar of Events page.  Meetings are open to members and the general public.

 

 

Directions to Albany Township Historical Society

From Route 78, Exit 12, - Route 143 North 5 1/2 miles to Village of Trexler.

       Turn right over old stone bridge.  Turn left on Old Philly Pike.

       Headquarters is on right side along railroad tracks.

 

From Kutztown area—Route 737 North to Kempton.  Turn right at end of

       Main Street.  Turn an immediate left going over bridge.  Turn left, over

       tracks, onto Old Philly Pike Road.  Travel 1/2 mile to Village of Trexler.

       The Historical Society is on right side along railroad tracks.

The Historical Society is always in need of assistance with events and projects. If you would like more information please contact us via e-mail at albanyhis@enter.net.  Volunteers are needed in the following areas:
