Dave Smoot, a Civil War historical interpreter, will portray a Union Army

medical officer with an array of items and the standards and practices used during our

nation's Civil War. Mr.Smoot will describe the treatment of actual named soldiers who served

from Albany Township. Learn more about local veterans including Samuel Brobst (typhoid),

Charles Dietz (prisoner of war), William Flammer (shell wound), and others.
