Folk Art & Foodways of the Pennsylvania Dutch

$30.00

This cookbook is an inspiration from our experience managing the Summer Kitchen at the Kutztown Folk Festival in 2005. It's filled with 115 recipes collected from local PA Dutch descendants. Some are classic dishes made daily on the farm, others recipes are more contemporary, adapted to modern times, using ingredients traditionally associated with PA Dutch cooking.

Written by Jeff Dietrich and Lucetta Trexler Muth, the recipes in the book are organized according to the four seasons, and includes thirteen colorful seasonal illustrations by local artist and teacher Gladys Lutz. With each illustration is a story written by Gladys. The book included is a short biography of Gladys, now deceased, and a recipe index.

Postage and handling is included in the price.
